Welcome!

On this website you will find information on growing, propagating and maintaining pecan trees in the southern states, particularly the Texas/Oklahoma area. As lifetime residents of the southern states, our family has cultivated a love and admiration for the state tree of both Texas and Oklahoma - the pecan tree. As a hobby farmer of pecans, walnuts, fruit trees, grapes, and blackberries, I am always happy to find like-minded friends to share and exchange knowledge.

Although much of my attention on this website will be given to growing pecan trees, you may also see some of my other interests discussed from time to time including apiary (honeybees), organic gardening, fishing and even storm chasing (we are in tornado alley, after all...)
